"Harry Potter" Themed Bathroom
All wood, stone, and "windows" are faux painted.
The client wanted the walls of her boys' bathroom to correspond with their existing Harry Potter decor. The door was painted like wooden planks, as was the ceiling. An existing attic entrance in the ceiling was painted to resemble a sky light, with a view to the magical night sky. A corresponding window illusion was painted on the back wall above the shower, with wrought iron gothic arch details. The walls were painted to resemble the stonework of an old castle interior. "Carving" details above the shower area feature gothic arches as well as the four Hogwarts house animals.
A magical bathroom for some young Harry Potter fans!
Islands Elementary Front OfficeThe school had just remodeled their front office and wanted some bright, bold mural work to help complete the space and make an impression. The old school logo in its traditional yellow and turquoise was replicated by hand on the back wall, visible from first walking in. Above the principal's office was painted a banner reading "Home of the Dolphins," in bright yellow on a background of sun rays coming through the surface of the water. On the adjacent wall was painted a large, detailed scene of a bright sunset over a tropical island. Underwater you can see a colorful sea floor and two friendly dolphins ready to greet all visitors!
